In July the Organizing Committee, called by the Permanent Secretariat (headed by Prof. Dr. Luiz Carlos Susin) met in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, to organize the next Forum which will be held in Belem (Pará), Brazil, in January 2007. In the last week of October the Organizing Commitee met again, now in Porto Alegre, to proceed with the logistics and contents of the WFTL. Our executive secretary and treasurer, Prof. Dr. Luiza Tomita, is the EATWOT representative in the Organizing Committee and was present in both meetings.
